IJLEAL is published twice a year.
Papers can be written in English or Malay. Papers written in Malay should include abstract and title in English.
The suitable topics for IJLEAL may be treated from the perspective of Language Education and Applied Linguistics. For more details, please check the information on the ‘Scope of the Journal’ tab.
Yes. All submissions will be subjected to a review process by panel of experts. IJLEAL adopts the double blind reviewing policy where all identifying features of the author(s) are removed.
We accept only papers written in English and Malay. Papers written in poor English / Malay will not be considered for publication.
IJLEAL accepts Original Research Papers, Conceptual Papers, and Reviews.
The word limits for Original Research Papers and Conceptual Papers should be between 5000 - 7000 words in length, including references, notes and tables. The word limits for Reviews should not be more than 2000 words in length, including references. There should be no table or graphic.
